Xiaomi has listed a new Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 smartphone on the website with a set of its features last month. However, the new report says Xiaomi has cancelled the launching of this phone and instead of it, they are going to launch Xiaomi X1 smartphone. Xiaomi is all set to launch two new variants of the Xiaomi X1 smartphone to expand the X series of its smartphones lineup.
Talking about the variants, Xiaomi will launch one device with a wide bezel-less display, while the other device will feature a regular screen.
Xiaomi X1’s first variant will feature a 5.5-inch wide bezel-less display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The phone is expected to be powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with 4GB and 6GB variants in it. The phone will feature a dual camera setup at the rear side with Sony IMX362 sensor. The phone will also feature a Fingerprint Scanner at the backside of the device. Both the variants of the phone 4GB and 6GB will offer 64GB of free Internal Storage capacity.
The other variant of the X1 will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The phone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC with 6GB RAM. This variant of the X1 will also feature a dual camera setup. Fingerprint Scanner will also be there at the front side and will be placed on the home button. The phone would offer 64GB of freee Internal Storage capacity.
There is no any further information about the phone’s pricing and availability yet. However, Xiaomi will soon announce this phones in the market in the coming months
